Hi! I'm Derek. I became a tour guide as driving and exploring the beautiful scenery and historic sites and quaint little villages that are scattered all over Scotland excites me, and I want to pass on this joy to everyone who comes to visit Scotland. Previously as an H. G. V. Driver carrying dangerous goods (whisky included) meant that I have had to undertake intensive Advanced Driver Training which results in the knowledge that you will be in safe hands as we explore the sights on offer. My aim overall is to provide every traveler with the best experience possible on their visit to my homeland and to have them leaving as friends with memories to last a lifetime. All of my tours can be tailor to suit your needs and capabilities on request. Just contact me! My whole lifetime of living in and discovering the beauty of Scotland. Lets head off on a journey to discover the historical heart of Scotland where you will be transported back in time. Visiting the likes of Stirling Castle and Wallace's Monument and the ancient village of Culross, all of which have been used in film and T. V locations ( Braveheart, Outlander, Game of Thrones, Monty Python's Holy Grail ) During the tour, we will marvel at the mystical shape-shifting creatures called "The Kelpies" before heading off to explore some of the amazing sites that Glasgow Scotlands largest City has to offer like Glasgow Cathedral and Necropolis, the Riverside Museum of Transport, George Square and the Duke of Wellington Statue. You have the freedom to explore at your own pace and extend stops at any of the many interesting places. This level of flexibility is especially valuable when there are countless hidden gems to discover. Join me to make this tour the highlight of your trip.

This is the basic structure of my tour but it can be customized to suit your needs. Pick up at your hotel or accommodation The Kelpies ( 20 - 30 minutes ) Glasgow Riverside Museum of Transport and Tall Ship (1 hour ) Ashton Lane ( 30 minutes ) Glasgow Cathedral / Necropolis / George Square / Duke of Wellington Statue ( 90 minutes ) Wallace's Monument - ( drive by ) Stirling Castle - (45 - 60 minutes) Culross Village / Palace - ( Outlander T. V. Location 30 - 45 minutes ) Drop off at your hotel or accommodation (Entry into each site is not mandatory.
