St Andrews is the "Home of Golf" and a must see for any golf enthusiast. On this tour you will step into the mecca of the golfing world. From the Royal and Ancient clubhouse to the Swilken Bridge you can walk in the footsteps of the great and the good. At the Links Clubhouse you can enjoy majestic panoramic views of the Old Course, the New Course and the Jubilee Course. If watching is not enough you can enjoy 18 holes at the challenging Himalayas Putting green. This fun experience will allow you to boast that you have played 18 holes at St Andrews. After immersing yourself in all that is golf you can choose to head out of St Andrews to the lovely little village of Anstruther where you will be able to enjoy award winning fish and chips or choose to jump even deeper into the golfing experience and stay in St Andrews to have lunch at the Tom Morris restaurant followed by a visit to the golf museum.
David Cornwallis provided another excellent tour as he took our small group of 6 to Edinburgh and Saint Andrews. Though the weather prevented us from getting out on the mini golf 18 holes, David still helped us get our obligatory pictures on the bridge on the 18th hole as well as get into the Old Course shops. David provided great intellect into the history of Edinburgh as we drove through town. Would definitely recommend David for any tour you may be looking into.
Wonderful Tour! A+ David was punctual, gracious, laid back, informative, and took us to many off the beaten path locations that otherwise would have been missed on commercial tours. It was a true "tour by local" and highly recommend to others for a first class experience. David tailored the tour to family's desire and wishes, and added his own ideas and thorough knowledge of St. Andrews, Faulkland, Glascow, and surrounding areas to really make our time special. Even gave some of Scotland local desserts.
David was amazing. He kept us on schedule and has a wealth of knowledge. He was super easy to work with to build a great itinerary. He had delicious snacks and drinks for us to enjoy.

We had a wonderful day with David in St Andrews, Falkland (not to be missed) and several fishing villages. Ate delicious fish & chips and due to the good weather (thank you Lord) loved the scenery. David's an excellent driver and made fun stops along the way. This was our second tour with David and I will recommend him to friends. This particular itinerary is especially low stress and delightful
- Drive from Glasgow to St Andrews (Drive time is around 2 hours and a bit longer from Greenock for cruise visits) - After a brief overview of the main courses and highlights of the area, take a walk out to the course and get your picture on the famous Swilken Bridge and have some time to explore the many golf shops in the area. - Either head out to a local fishing village for some award winning fish and chips or challenge the other members of your group to 18 holes at the Himalayas Putting Green or enjoy some lunch at the Tom Morris Restaurant - Return to your pick up point. You will have 4 hours in the area of the golf courses but if you want to extend your time just ask for an extended tour. This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly.
