Hello, my name is James and I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish. I am very proud and privileged to be able to share my beautiful country with visitors from all over the world. I have been very lucky that I have had the opportunity to travel all across this beautiful country over the years, seeing some impressive sights and visiting some incredible places, including being in Balmoral Castle while the Queen was in residence (but that's a story for another time). There are so many wonderful, wild and mysterious places in Scotland and I would love to be able to share them with you. From the castles and architecture in out ancient cities to the vast expanse of wilderness in our hills and glens, there really is so much to see and explore. It would be my honor to show you the sights of this amazing wee country, and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. Red Cross First Aid Certificate Whisky Ambassador I have been guiding since my early 20's all over the world but I love guiding in my home country of Scotland. Please note; I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of historical monuments. I can, however, accompany you inside and provide a brief overview.

If you're looking to get right out there and explore Scotland in a day this is perfect for you! This is a day for people with good fitness as it's a moderate hike and proper footwear is required. Puck's Glen is a stunning forest covered in most with an air of enchantment! As you walk the path and climb the ancient steps to the most beautiful waterfalls, you will think you have been transported back to the time of myths & legends! It's walls covered in dripping moss and with a canopy of trees overhead, is otherworldly and magical. If this is one of the best short walks in Scotland, if not Europe! Bringing your camera is a must for this tour as the shots you will get are ones you will want to frame. Afterwards, we will stop at the Rest Be Thankful for pictures & then if time permits lunch at the Drovers Inn est 1705 before heading to Dumbarton Castle on the Rock. Again this is quite a hike and needs good walking shoes. After all that you can chill as we head home.
