Hello, my name is James and I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish. I am very proud and privileged to be able to share my beautiful country with visitors from all over the world. I have been very lucky that I have had the opportunity to travel all across this beautiful country over the years, seeing some impressive sights and visiting some incredible places, including being in Balmoral Castle while the Queen was in residence (but that's a story for another time). There are so many wonderful, wild and mysterious places in Scotland and I would love to be able to share them with you. From the castles and architecture in out ancient cities to the vast expanse of wilderness in our hills and glens, there really is so much to see and explore. It would be my honor to show you the sights of this amazing wee country, and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. Red Cross First Aid Certificate Whisky Ambassador I have been guiding since my early 20's all over the world but I love guiding in my home country of Scotland. Please note; I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of historical monuments. I can, however, accompany you inside and provide a brief overview.

Overview of your Glasgow tour

Glencoe and the road from the central belt of Scotland to Glencoe is simply stunning. One thing most clients of mine notice it is Scotland is not been destroyed by capitalism we have our country mostly as nature intended and nowhere is this truer than the highlands of Scotland. You will be whisked away from the hustle & bustle of city living to a place where time stood still. But on route, we will see some stunning places along the way. Come experience the natural beauty of Scotland on our pilgrimage to Glencoe!

James is fantastic! Such energy and passion for his homeland and innovative approach with music and stories galore to enhance my experience. Attention to what means the most to me to see and do, good listening ear, caring, great conversationalist are but a few of his many assets. I really had a great experience and can now truly say I have a friend in Scotland! His hospitality is exceptional even amongst the Scots in general who are wonderful and so very friendly. Proud to be of Scots heritage!

Such a great day! My wife and I are traveling with our four kids. We were planning to travel to Edinburgh on the Caledonian sleeper train but could not drop our bags off for several hours. We wanted to see some of the beautiful highlands so we looked up this tour. James was very kind and immediately helped us feel as though we were spending quality time with a life-long friend. His passion for his beautiful country is easy to understand and even easier to take home as your own! Thanks James!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Our tour with James was wonderful! He is very accommodating. I had initially booked the tour to Glencoe, then changed my thoughts the morning of the tour to visit Loch Lomond & Stirling instead. He happily changed the plan & tailored the stops to what suits our group. He offered to accompany us to the castle, take pictures for us, & was in no rush during any of the stops. It was a fun/lovely day through beautiful scenery all along. Thank you James for the great tour & all the best.
