Hi, my name is Lesley and it is a pleasure to meet you. I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish and I am very proud and privileged to be able to share my beautiful country with visitors from all over the world. I have been working as a tour guide since early 2017 having previously worked as a Police Officer, a job that took me across the lengths and breadths of the country and afforded me the opportunity to learn so much along the way. I am a keen amateur photographer and never tire of photographing this wee country that I live in. There are so many wonderful, wild and mysterious places in Scotland and I would love to be able to share them with you. From the castles and architecture in our ancient cities to the vast expanse of wilderness in our hills and glens, there really is so much to see and explore all with their own myths and folklore. It would be my honor to show you the sights of this amazing wee country, and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. I am a retired Scottish Police Officer and have been a guide since 2017. SITOA Member (Scottish Independent Tour Operators Association) Please note; I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of historical monuments. I can, however, accompany you inside and provide a brief overview.

Have you ever wanted to visit the home of Golf or see the place where a Prince met his future Queen? Our day begins when I collect you from your hotel or cruise port. From there we will escape the city, crossing the river Forth and making our way into the Kingdom of Fife. We will journey to the picturesque seaside town of St Andrews, renowned worldwide as the home of golf. Stopping near the old course, you will see the famous Swilican Bridge and have your picture taken on the famous landmark, before seeing the town where Prince William met Kate. For whisky fans, a tour and tasting at the local Kingsbarns Distillery can also be arranged (please let me know at the time of booking) From here we will make our way along the coast to the stunning seaside village of Anstruther where we will stop for lunch, giving you the chance to taste some of the best Fish & Chips in Scotland from the multi-award-winning Anstruther Fish Bar before returning to Edinburgh to drop you off after a wonderful day on the coast
You will be collected from your hotel, cruise ship port or other pre-arranged location and we will travel along the east coast of Scotland visiting the following locations: - St Andrews - Anstruther - Kingsbarns Distillery (optional, must be booked in advance) At the end of the day, you will be dropped back at your hotel, cruise ship port, or other pre-arranged location.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
