He took us to some out of the way places that were very interesting and beautiful, like the Rosslyn Chapel He knows his history. We were definitely told stories about Scotland that we would have never know. Great, great day!

Alan took us on a day tour of Edinburgh. We was very mindful of my parents and their limited mobility and catered the tour to suit us. We learned a lot of history and saw some great sites. I would definitely book with him again.

Compare the Old Town, where families lived in cramped conditions and rubbish was thrown out of the windows, to the elegant Georgian New Town with its three main streets and a square at either end. - After lunch we head to Rosslyn Chapel, a 15th-century chapel that has been the subject of speculative theories concerning a connection to Freemasonry, the Knights Templar, and the Holy Grail. Take your time exploring, and perhaps unlocking the mysteries, of this medieval gem with its ornate stonework and mysterious symbolism.
