Overview of your Madrid tour
In the 1700s a new dynasty arrived in Spain and they completely changed the foundations of the country. One of their most visual changes is the new expansion of Madrid, known as the Bourbon's District. This area includes major highlights of the city suches as Prado Avenue, Cibeles and Neptune's Fountain, Alcala's Gate, Retiro Park and of course, Prado Museum. This building dates back to 1795 and if from the point of view of its architecture is really impressive, the collections that are displayed inside are just stunning gathering masterpieces from some of the most remarkables European Masters like Velazquez, Goya, Rubens, Titian or El Greco.
Your Madrid tour itinerary
Firstly we'll have a walk in the Bourbon's District exploring its highlights and landmarks (Prado Avenue, Cibeles Fountain, Madrid's City Hall, The National Library, Alcala's Gate, Columbus Square, etc...). Afterwards we'll visit one of Europe's most famous museums: Prado. Once there we'll focus on the most important artists represented there: Velazquez, Goya, Rubens, Titian and El Greco.
