Overview of your Barcelona tour
Let's take a trip into the past to discover the origin of Barcelona, the oldest part of the city and my favorite part, which it is full of stories and legends that we will know while we stroll quietly. Barcelona is a city with more than 2000 years of history and where several civilizations have passed through and left their mark. This tour will allow us to walk through the historic town, strolling along the Ramblas, one of the most popular streets of Barcelona, Boqueria, a centenary and colorful market, the basilica Santa Maria del Pi, the old Jewish Quarter, the Synagogue, the Royal Palace, City Hall, the Born quarter, the local fishing neighbourhood with the beautiful church of Santa Maria del Mar. And enjoy the amazing view from the terrace of the cathedral!! Come and walk with me through the narrow streets of the city and taste some delicious churros with chocolate!!
Your Barcelona tour itinerary
- Catalonia Square - Famous boulevard "La Rambla" - Visit the Boqueria food market - Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi (exterior view) - Petritxol Street, popular by chocolate stores - Cathedral and terrace (interior visit) - Gothic quarter: Sant Felip Neri Square, Sant Jaume Square (Town Hall and Government's Palace), Royal Palace, Roman walls and temple - The Old Jewish and sinagogue (exterior view) - Born (old fisherman quarter) - Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar (exterior view) During the tour we can take a break in one of the traditional chocolate stores and taste some delicious churros with hot chocolate in winter or a sweet horchata in summer. Cathedral dress code: shoulders must be covered and shorts are not allowed Boqueria market is closed on Sundays On Sundays morning is not allowed do to the guided tour in the cathedral due to the mass I can adapt the tour to your needs or preferences. We can include a tour at the Picasso Museum (but you have to let me know when you book)
