Private Half-Day Experience: The Heart of Barcelona

Montse was surprisingly wonderful Great passion and knowledge of her beloved Barcino. Endearing and well spoken. She made the Experience meaningful. Highly recommend an experience with her.

Our family took a 3 hour walking tour of the old city of Barcelona with Montse. She is very knowledgeable and personable. She pointed out the geography of Barcelona demonstrating the old compared with the new city. We saw many interesting sites including the cathedral, the Jewish quarter, Roman ruins, the city and Barcelona offices, and many more, We stopped for delicious gelato as per her recommendation. Montse described all of the sites with an engaging style keeping us interested for the entire time. I strongly recommend her!

Tour was a good balance of historical and contemporary information. Montse was the perfect guide presenting Barcelona in a way so that after few hours with her you get a sense you have really felt the city vibe but also have learned at the same time a lot of staff about the city.

Montse was amazing! I explained the type of tour we wanted and she executed it perfectly. Her English is very good and she explains history in a very informative and interesting way. She is very knowledgeable about Barcelona and it’s history. . She is high energy but reads the room and adjusts to the group. I highly recommend spending time with this sweet fun lady. Montse did a nicely organized tour of the old city of Barcelona. The great addition worth mentioning was her use of the wireless earpieces for our group. It allowed us to hear her explanation clearly in the middle of loud noises of the crowds and traffic around us. It also allowed us not to follow her too close to be able hear her voice, but sort of wander a bit aside to see the windows or other architectural details and just following her in general. Great guide with nice technology.
