Hi, I'm Josep! Passionate for traveling. From a very young age, I developed a curiosity about discovering other cultures and meeting people from all over the world. This is why the tours I offer are in this great city, that I know so very well, so if you would like to experience the highlights of the city, or even go to Montserrat, and why not have a visit to some vineyards later, or perhaps, a food tour (food is my passion too, and I have to say I cook veryyyyy well), all of these, in a fun, smooth and careless way. . . I AM YOUR GUIDE!!!! , also because I really enjoy entertaining people, as this is one of the skills that life provides me. Overview of your Barcelona tour
Do you know why visiting Montserrat is considered a tradition in between Catalan/foreign families? Because Monserrat is a Sanctuary, a Basilica and a Monastery. We love to visit it and get the bless of the Virgin. In this tour, we'll travel from Barcelona to the mountain of Montserrat - mountain made thanks to the deposits of sand from the sea for millions of years, that's why the shape of the peaks is different of what we had seen before! We can visit the basilica, the audiovisual, the museum, the choir (this is at 1pm we should have to reorganize our visit) and I'll strongly recommend to get the funicular to enjoy the wonderful views of the Monastery from the highest point of the mountain! This a FANTASTIC spot for pictures. After 18 years in the field, I'll help you take those memories home! And that's not all! After the visit to Monserrat we'll head to the cavas where we'll enjoy a tour and cava testings.
Your Barcelona tour itinerary
- Pick up at your hotel or accommodation. We'll leave to Montserrat early around 8:00 9:00. - Upon arrival, we'll visit the wonderful black madonna 10:15 - Go through the Virgen mary corridor - We'll make a stop at the audiovisual installation (optional). - Ride at the funicular top of mountain 1200m. This is also optional, but I highly recommend it. - After the monastery, we'll head to a tour at cavas. I'm not allowed to guide inside the cavas as they have a staff of their own, but I will be with you the whole time. We'll enjoy an introduction, then a ride in a wagon (yes, a wagon!) and then a tasting. - Return to barcelona and drop off at your hotel/accommodation. We should expect to get back to Barcelona around 5-6 pm * This tour can be customized upon request, please contact me.
