My name is Josep, and I arrived casually to be a tourist guide in 2008, when I did my exams to be a Licensed Catalan Guide. So I'm not the tipical guide who studied Tourism but is not interested in other aspects. . . not, that's not my case. My case is the opposite: I found tourism because it likes me, not because I studied, it's different. I've been teaching since 2000, and I thought that touring would be more or less the same than Teaching, but with people more motivated. Also, I could talk about my subjects of interest, subjects I never studied but I read a lot: History, Art, Music, Food, Jewels, Fashion, Gardening, Catalan Culture, Jews, Politics. . . Aesthetics basically and Society, always mixed. To be a good guide you have to read and be curious, not a gossip person, but interested in the world and the people, and anecdotes are very significant to explain History and life. My background is Political Science and Economics, so subjects very different to my hobbies. I think is important to be transversal in Life, not to cultivate the same things in all the aspects of your daily life. World is becoming more and more transversal, transgobal, and I can offer a service touring people interested in curiosities, anecdotes and comparison to other cultures, but seeing the Catalan point of view, with content and synthesis. And also manners. To be a guide you need to be patient and also to be a good listener. So don't wait and book a tour with me! I'll show you Catalonia and all the peculiarities of this smart land !! Degree in Political Science (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) Diplomma in Business Studies ( Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) Catalonia Licensed Guide-Number 2787 Studies of Ballet, Sol-fa and Transverse Flute, (Conservatori de Música Oscar Esplà-Alacant) I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Since the 19th of March of 1882, this incredible building has been developed slowly, firstly paid by the neighbours, later by the tourists. . . Gaudí, the architect and inspirer of this Magnus Opera, said that it's the Cathedral of the Poors, basically because of the location and the audience supporting it, however, nothing is about poverty in this building. . . all is about beauty and effort. . . will you discover it with me? The doubts of the first builders, the decissions og Gaudi, the Spanish Civil was, the 1992 Olympics, you'll understand how reality superates fiction, with all the adventures that have made possible, randomely, the current state of Gaudi's more important and personal constructions. If I was you and I had just the chance to visit something of Barcelona, undoubtly, the decission would be that one. . . Come and enjoy!!! Let me show it!!
00:00 We meet at Avinguda de Gaudí, number 2 (very close to the Church, there is there a Kentucky Fried Chicken) 00:15 We enter inside the Chuch and we do the visit. 01:30 We finisih the visit at the Passion Façade of the Church. This tour, because it's a religious building requires specific attire: women and men must be dressed covering shoulders and knees and also neckline. It's not allowed to enter drinks inside the building, (just water of less than 50 ml), knifes, pocket knifes and spikes of whatever material.
