Barcelona from an architectural point of view! My name is Laura, a local architect in Barcelona! I was born and raised in this wonderful city so I know every corner of it; get lost in Gothic and Born narrow streets, get delighted by Gaudí's unique architecture, or enjoy some tapas and traditional "Vermut" in the local neighborhood of Gracia's. Moreover, I can share a lot about Catalan and Spanish culture, traditions, history, and of course, architecture! I can personalize the tour for you depending on your interests. I can provide you with information from local traditions to local restaurants, chill rooftop bars, or hidden gems in tourist and non-tourist areas. Already as a student, I started to become very passionate about the history & architecture in this city and had the opportunity to work in places such as Sagrada Familia or Gran Teatre del Liceu. Some years later, I went to study and work abroad in Sweden, Belgium, and France and that's why I speak French and a little bit of Swedish. In 2016, after this experience abroad I decided to come back to my hometown and develop my passion for showing the city to visitors, which I really enjoy, together with my architecture profession. I consider myself an open-minded person and I love getting to know new people and sharing stories about different cultures. In my tours, you will have both, a local perspective and an architect's point of view and we can combine it with some tapas, wine tasting, or excursions outside Barcelona. Hope to meet you very soon so I can show you my Barcelona! - Master Degree in Architecture (Barcelona, 2012) - Tourism Studies (Barcelona, 2016) - English Language Advanced Level (C1) (2016) - I prefer not to drive during tours. We can use public transportation (metro, taxi) or I can arrange a private car or a minivan with a driver. - I will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments.

Your Barcelona tour itinerary
The tour will be organized in 8 hours with 2-3 breaks. In the first part you will walking along the narrow streets full of history and anecdotes of the Gothic and Born where you will be visiting: • Palau Güell • Plaça Reial • Las Ramblas • La Boqueria Market BREAKFAST BREAK: Enjoy a warm coffee or a refreshing drink with Churros & Chocolate (other options available) in a cozy cafeteria. • Barcelona's Cathedral • Roman Barcelona • Gothic and jewish quarters • Plaça del Rei • El Born Centre Cultural LUNCH BREAK: Tapas in a local restaurant. After some rest we will continue visiting the modern city of Barcelona with private transportation: • Santa Caterina Market • Palau de la Música Catalana • Casa Batlló • Casa Amatller OPTIONAL COFFEE BREAK: Little rest in a Modernist house • Casa Milà • Casa Punxes • Sant Pau Hospital • Sagrada Família (Exterior) It will be the time to relax and to visit the future, the beach and to admire Barcelona from a viewpoint.
