As you tour the Monastery's Gothic Cloister, Atrium, Basilica and Black Madonna I will explain the fascinating legends and secrets of this magical place Continue to el Penedès wine region, Catalonia's leading wine and cava producing area. A truly beautiful Catalan countryside landscape where you will visit one of my favourite wineries, selected over 300 different ones, where you will get a very local insight and you will enjoy a guided visit to the cellar, learn about wine and cava elaboration process and taste three of their internationally awarded cavas paired with some local snacks.

Hop aboard a comfortable eight-seater van for a scenic 1-hour drive. - Start the day at one of my favourite Montserrat's viewpoint, from where I will introduce to the origin of this 1000 old monastery. - Enjoy a guided visit to the Benedictine monastery . Explore its most beautiful parts and discover its amazing history legends and secrets. - You will visit the Black Madonna of Montserrat, the shrine that turned this monsatery into a major piligrimage place in Spain. - Continue to el Penedes wine region. - Visiting a small familly-owned organic winery where we will enjoy a guided visit to the cellar and learn about their history and the wine & cava elaboration process. -We will taste three of their internationaly awarded cava wines. -We will have it with some catalan snacks. -Drive back to Barcelona. Please note this tour can start indistinctly with Montserrat or El Penedes wine region depending on winery availability for visit.
