I cannot tell you how many times I have been in this amazing church, but I never get tired of it, because it always surprises me and leaves me breathless. Gaudi didn't want to put any decoration inside, because for him nature was already perfect and that's what you'll find inside. The colours projected inside through the stained glass windows are different every day, they change with the sun, with the hours, with the seasons, and this is what God does with the rays of light. Gaudí dedicated 43 years of his life to his masterpiece and the church is still under construction today. Remember this is a Catholic church and there are clothing restrictions: No see-through clothing. Trousers and skirts must come down to at least mid-thigh. Visitors may not enter in swimwear.
