Hola! Welcome to Barcelona! I'm Agustina and I'd love to be your guide, but first let me tell you a bit about who am I and what we're going to be discovering together :) I was born in Argentina, studied Art History, and as soon as I finished my studies I wanted to travel the world and see new places. 12 years later, I'm still on this side of the Ocean, 9 of which I've been working as a professional tour guide in Ireland, Portugal, and Barcelona! When I arrived in Barcelona, I fell in love with this city, because it's a place that HAS IT ALL. A city full of Art, amazing architecture, great weather, fantastic cuisine and a coastal city, what else could we ask for? :) All of these things that I really love about Barcelona are what I'd love to showcase to you, so if I do a good job. . . you'll finish my tour liking this city as much as I do. Mission accomplished! The things I love the most in life are to keep discovering new things, learning, growing, and getting to share them with others. I LOVE TELLING STORIES and I consider myself so fortunate to match my two biggest passions through my job: Art History and Storytelling! Come and join me on a tour, let me show you why Barcelona is so unique, a place that has many spots that need to be revealed, many secrets to be told, and many stories you'll never forget! Degree in Art History Tour Guide License Member of European Tourism Association (ETOA) I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver. My tour license does not allow me to guide inside some monuments such as Sagrada Familia, casa Batlló and La Pedrera.

On this tour, we will discover industrialized Barcelona in the XIX together. During the industrial revolution, Barcelona became the economic core of the Iberian Peninsula. We demolished the city walls, we expanded the city, and designed a new Barcelona that would reflect its new prosperity. All this new technology opened the gate to creativity! On this experience, we will see and analyse Passeig the Gracia, which became the symbol of Barcelona's bourgeoisie, a pleasant and enjoyable overview of this beautiful architectural style that has only occured here, on this side of the world! I always like to say that one thing is to admire a beautiful street and take nice pictures, a something very different is to understand what we are looking at, so you will gain perspective and a different level of appreciation! We’ll continue heading to Sagrada Familia where we will analyse the history of the monument from the exterior and its façades. Great location where to finish this modernist experience.
-We would meet at Plaça Catalunya (at the beginning of Passeig de Gràcia). -I will then proceed to explain the distribution of the city and the XIX century proyect of the Extention of Barcelona. -During our walking, we will enjoy and analyze the modernist elements of Passeig the Gracia and its highlights, which definitely make it unique and a "must" to be interpretated and appreciated. -We will see Casa Lleo I Moreras, designed by the Father of Modernism, Dominech I Montaner. -We will come across Casa Amatller, also known as the House of Chocolate, where we'll have a nice coffee break. -We will then proceed towards Casa Battlo, Antoni Gaudi's masterpiece. -La Pedrera, Gaudi's last private work before retiring and dedicating himself exclusively to working in Sagrada Familia, our grand finale. -To wrap up the tour, we will head to Sagrada Familia either by walking from our prior spot (roughly an 20 min walk) or we could also take the metro or taxi. (10 min away). (Customizable)
