Hello, I am Moises, 11 years ago, I arrived in Barcelona and became obsessed with its history, architecture, culture, wine, and food scene. Thanks to my communication and social skills, I found my passion, showing and explaining this city to its visitors (and some locals as well). I have been a tour guide for 9 years, WSET L2 awarded with distinction in wine, and now my tours have been featured in NatGeo. Since then, many people have chosen me as their tour guide, all of them with great backgrounds, amazing energies, and stories to tell me as well! Their interests and lives are always different. With my experience and general knowledge, I have the ability to tailor my words, facts and routes according to them. It also leads me to make the best decisions before, during and after the tour, as I have encountered many scenarios in which being wise is a virtue. During my free time, I surf (whenever it is possible), Mountain Bike, and learn about wine and fragrances, two very complex and vast worlds. These are the reasons why I love doing food and wine tours, outdoor historical tours, and combining different subjects with a comprehensive storyline. Barcelona is a city that offers something great to each individual, you just have to know where to look and what to choose. I truly believe it is one of the best cities in the world and I will show you why. I studied Sociology, Political Science, and an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism management. - I prefer not to drive during tours. I can arrange a private car or a minivan with driver to give you all of my attention. - I will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments, most of them offer very complete audioguides.

The best way to discover the highlights of the city and its very origins, with 11 different tastings throughout the whole walk in markets, bars, and food stands, all of them my personal favorites! 17 million people visited La Boqueria Market in 2022, not many know where to look or what to eat, after 7 years running tours here, I have managed to find the right places there. More over, only locals, as myself, know about those "Holes in the wall" in neighborhoods like these, with the best ambiance and traditional food to have a true local experience away from the touristy bars. I will also give you the keys to identify a "Tourist trap restaurant" so you don't waste a cent and meal by mistake. With bits of the 2000-year history to understand the development of the city and it's relation to our gastronomy. Tastings suitable for kids and teenagers, they will have alcohol-free beverages instead of wine. Vegetarian, gluten free options available. You will eat churros, jamón, seasonal wines, tapas, and more.

We had an amazing time with Moises this morning. We learned about Barcelona history while discovering food we would have never found on our own. He has many hidden gems on his tours and catered the recommendations with our 2 kids in mind. Even though the weather wasn't the best we still had a great time. We had an incredible walking tour with Moises. He made a historical tour fun, he eas thoughtful about making it relevant for my two teens, we had some really interesting and tasty experiences in his small local spots trying food we wouldn’t otherwise have tried, and he gave us lots of great tips on where not to eat as tourists - how to find the places locals go and eat!! He left us with a list of restaurants in both Barcelona and other cities we were going to - which was super helpful. I’d recommend this tour and I can imagine his other tours would be equally incredible.
