I'm a native of Barcelona and a -FULLY LICENSED GUIDE n º 3044 of Barcelona and Catalunya- SKIP THE LINES GUARANTEED IN ALL SITES PERMITED -. ITS A PRIORITY that we have just the licensed guides in most of the sites- My tours are flexible and can be customized to your preferences.
As far back as I can remember, I've been fascinated by this great city. I like my work so much that it would be a pleasure to show you Barcelona…exploring it's passages and enjoying the local gastronomy.
We can stroll the streets, visiting the places where Picasso was studying and growing as an artist. I can show you the historical beauty of the Gothic District that seduced George Orwell and knew the visit of Columbus and Cervantes. We can visit the bohemian district of El Born, that holds great monuments and much history behind.
We can also admire the work of the genius, Gaudí, studying his amazing conception of architecture and planning all over the city. There's the magnificent Sagrada Familia, still under construction after 137years; La Pedrera with it's mystery and strange elegance; the dragon-inspired Casa Batllo, with it's colorful tile mosaic facade and unique interior architecture - where we can still now, feel the special atmsophere that fascinates people from all over the world.
You will know the best tapas venues, fantastic paella restaurants, or exciting flamenco shows…. and of course, there is always the beach!
In addition to visiting the city's best venues, I can take care of many travel details for you. For your confort, I can arrange transportation and a driver, if needed.
I will arrange your ticket purchases in advance, meaning that during the visits to the monuments and museums, so you won't waste time standing in line at the entrances. I can arrange for special tours of the interiors and exteriors - things you wouldn't see otherwise!
As well, if you are interested in having views of the city, the coast from a boat I can arrange that as I know well the different options and the sailing field. I am a sailor since a kid, and have a deep knowledge of the seafront of barcelona, that I know as the back of my hand. So with me, you can see BCN from the see, as Christopher Columbus did on his return from Ameruca. . . , the amazing perspective with the mountain of Tibidabo behind, Montjuic mountain with its Castle. . . and knowing then the history of this village from the sea . I can customize this option.
