Hello from Barcelona! My name is Jordi, born and raised in Barcelona. I was born in 1983, into a family dedicated to the tourist business. Guiding is my passion. Early on, I realized I wanted to make this my profession, and, I started to be a tour guide when I was just a teenager. In 2009, I became a Barcelona Licensed Tourist Guide, and since then, I've continued to make it my profession. I am a dynamic friendly person. I will say that my strongest point is empathy; I am always trying to put myself in my guest's position. Furthermore, I like to do a great job and have fun at the same time. Since my very early beginnings, my interests have led me to interests like languages, history, the arts, and geography. I have never stopped cultivating myself to develop my profession, offering the highest quality. I am an active person and a big sports fan, too. In fact, everything that has to do with Barcelona is interesting to me. Its history, culture, food, folklore, and architecture are some of the special things that this vibrant city has to offer and what makes me happy is to share all this with all of you. My tours have the purpose of making you enjoy a unique and customized experience and look to create memorable moments. The tours are very informative, professional, also very easygoing, and flexible. Always looking for exclusive experiences. At the same time, I would love to show local Barcelona to you, discovering sites and stories that just a guide born and raised here can show you, avoiding crowds and touristy places. I invite you all to come over and explore this unique city together! I promise we will have a great time! Official Catalonia Tourist Guide Number 2702 Provided by Generalitat De Catalunya I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences

This tour is the perfect option for those who would like to discover the main sites to visit in Barcelona on a half-day tour, getting a good taste of what Barcelona has to offer. The tour combines a visit to The Gothic Quarter and walk along Las Rambles with a taste of Art Nouveau, exploring the elegant avenue Passeig de Gràcia, where there are some of the the greastest Gaudí buildings. Finally, we will be diving into the world of Gaudí, who made of Barcelona a unique place. It is a great opportunity to discover the unique multicultural soul of Barcelona by the hand of a local! It is a very complete tour, visiting the most famous city sites and discovering all what the city has to offer. Also, it is a very good way to have your first contact with the city, getting a very useful orientation that will allow you to continue exploring on your own.
The tour starts at Plaça Catalunya (Barcelona city center), and I will take you first on a walk along the Gothic Quarter, Barcelona's medieval neighborhood, visiting the most relevant sites on a walking tour that takes an hour. We will see the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia, Las Ramblas, La Boqueria Marquet, and many other picturesque spots. To continue, we will take a taxi to Sagrada Familia for a guided outside tour. I will take you to the best places to get the best pictures, and I will be glad to introduce you to the world of Gaud and the history of his masterpiece. Finally, by taxi, we will go to Passeig de Gràcia, the heart of the new section of the city, where there are the most outstanding art nouveau works in the city. Together, we will enjoy a very pleasant walk along the avenue, and we will stop to discover Casa Milà and Casa Batlló, two of Gaud's greatest creations. The itinerary is flexible, for any changes please let me know.
