Hi, my name is Mario and I am an Azorean born local guide in Azores. Since the year 2000, I have been transmitting to my clients, the best experiences, traditions, history and culture of the Azorean Island of S Miguel. Overview of your Ponta Delgada tour
Our journey takes us to Nordeste, the Eastern side of the Island. The Miradouro Vigia das Baleias, formerly a point of observation of cetaceans during the times of whaling, transformed into a magnificent viewpoint. Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, one of the most visited areas in the Northeast, where its watermills, its magnificent waterfall, and the trail that winds along the riverside stand out. Enjoy a typical buffet lunch, where the food reminds us of homemade flavours. We visit Vila do Nordeste, admiring the Ponte dos Sete Arcos and the peaceful center of the village. Time to head to one of the most emblematic viewpoints in the Nordeste district, Ponta do Sossego. An authentic garden by the sea, or in this case, on top of the cliff by the sea where we can observe the immensity of the Ocean.
