Rui was a great guide. He had a very comfortable car and was very attentive and knew a great deal about the area.

We had a fantastic day with Rui. We went to all the major viewpoints as well as some lesser known ones. He was very informative and knowledgeable. We had a few stops where we had some free time to wonder around and see the town and he recommended a great place for lunch. One of the best travel days we have ever had. So much more relaxing than the big bus tours.

Rui was an excellent guide for our first visit to the Azores. While drizzle and heavy fog thwarted our original itinerary to see volcanic lakes at higher elevations on San Miguel island, Rui had a great plan B: visits to local villages, including Furnas with an abundance of volcanic thermal elements, and the coastline along the north of the island. Rui was very knowledgeable about local history and culture, and a pleasure to spend the day exploring our first Azorian island. We highly recommend Rui!

This was an awesome tour. Rui was very knowledgeable and seemed to go out of his way to make sure that we saw the highlights of Sao Miguel. He tailored our tour to make sure we took advantage of the clear skies in the morning to get the best view at the highest point in the island. We saw so much and had a thoroughly enjoyable day—capped off by a visit to a pineapple "farm". Over all a great tour with a very knowledgeable and fun tour guide!! Highly recommended!!
