In this combined tour we will be able to visit half of this amazing Island in one day! It's a very relaxing tour with coffee break and lunchtime if you want it. We will see fantastic views of the Island in different perspectives, such as on the Pico do Carvão view point. We will explore different lakes before the twin's lake, like Canary Lake, Grotto of the hell and the next view point the famous king view… We go down in a huge crater to the twin lakes for you to immerse yourself into nature and landscape. We will visit the North coast where you can smell the fresh air of our Northern longest sand beach and visit Ribeira Grande city. Fire Lake has always a great feel from the top of the mountain, which is the second highest point of the Island, with great views to the South coast, it is always a big surprise for first time visitors and also provides another perspective of the island. This tour in my opinion is a unique experience around the great volcano craters, a true spectacle of nature, come join me!
Jorge is a very professional guide. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible regarding the itinerary. This English is perfect, and he is an efficient driver with a large comfortable vehicle. The sites on this itinerary were spectacular. Highly recommended!
Highly recommend this tour. Jorge was a fantastic guide & is very knowledgeable of the island. The scenery was amazing and we are so glad we got to see so much of the island during this port stop.
Jorge is an excellent guide. He anticipated all of our needs. We had an excellent day with him and learned so much. Sao Miguel is stunning but Jorge knew how to showcase the best area. W never felt rushed but saw so much. He is very knowledgeable about a large range of topics. And is driving and English is excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend him ever. Would like to go back and have a hiking tour with him.

We had a wonderful day with Henrique (Jorge’s son). As Jorge was ill and kind enough to have Henrique (also a professional tour guide) provide us with an excellent tour! We saw all of the sites listed in the tour description as well as some hidden gems on this beautiful island. Henrique is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with.
