My story begins in the heart of a secluded paradise, where the waves kiss the shore and the horizon stretches endlessly. I started exploring this Archipelago at a very young age, hiking the most mysterious trails and surfing the wildest waves. When I turn 16, I stole my father's dive mask and became fascinated with the underwater world of these islands. After high school, I traveled across Europe to experience different cultures and broaden my horizons. But the call of home was too strong. The tour I did with Gabriel was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Sao Miguel. From the start he assisted me in creating the best itinerary. The weather and conditions can change very quickly in the Azores and Gabriel was very aware of this .. he went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. I got to see and experience very special places on the island without the crowds and also an insight into island life and cultures . Gabriel is a super professional guide, and an excellent safe driver with great knowledge of the island . My husband and I spent 2 amazing days hiking with Gabriel as our guide on Sao Miguel. The scenery was breathtaking, and we experienced the truly diverse range of nature that the island has— from cedar forests, to water falls, to volcanic crater lakes, to beaches, to everything in between. It was truly a dream, and we could absolutely not have done it without Gabriel— he tailored the experience for us and was kind, flexible, and passionate about the island. He’s extremely knowledgeable and can guide any visitor— from relaxed tourists to adventure-seekers. We cannot recommend him enough!

This was our second tour with our wonderful guide, Gabriel. Our group of 12 loved this tour!!! The hike and waterfall were stunningly beautiful! Gabriel was patient helping the children in our group, 3 that never snorkeled before, with the equipment. Gabriel scouted the natural lava pool and made sure each of us saw some of the local fish, including a nice sized red (male) parrot fish. This is a fantastic tour!!! Thank you, Gabriel!
