Discover the 3 beauties of Azores in the one day tour

We had a WP feel day learning the history and seeing the beautiful island. We were also given a lot of great ideas of things to come back and do on our own on the subsequent days. We had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed our tour of various areas of Sao Miguel. Since we had toured part of the island the day before with a group, Jorge was flexible in adjusting what we visited in our private tour. We enjoyed his explanations of the area and history. He also took us down local roads instead of staying on the main roads between sites.

What a beautiful island, and what a wonderful guide! As a small group of women, including one with mobility limitations, we were thrilled with Jorge's attentiveness and ability to adapt to the group needs. The overlooks from the volcanos are spectacular, and the opportunity to sample waters from the springs in town was fantastic! We were surprised with treats from a local bakery, and had a beautiful sunset as we drove back to our ship! What a great day!

We were scheduled to have Jorge as our guide so we had his son Henrique. Henrique was an excellent guide. He was flexible to our needs, was extremely knowledgeable about his homeland, fed us loads of local knowledge, seemed to know everyone. He adapted his schedule to comply with the ship’s altered docking location and schedule. He even was able to deliver us right to the ship whereas other excursions were bused to and from a remote location. Jorge has taught Henrique very well, should be proud of him and any tourist should be excited to have him as their guide. Top notch!!!!

We had a full day tour with Jorge Dias and it was great. from the moment we met until we had to say goodbye. Jorge knows a lot and we learned much from him. he is very nice and we have seen everything we planed. I cannot say enough about how welcoming and friendly Jorge was, also very knowledgeable. The tour had a beautiful day till a late afternoon shower and he made a comment it does rain here and he was right. I had no idea there were so many beautiful volcanic sights on the island with foliage that is very varied. I had asked to be driven around the island as I have some limitations for walking and Jorge found ways for me to see just about everything to be seen. I was impressed with the villages and how pretty they were. One needs more than a day to see this island so I was pleased we could see as much as we did, thank you Jorge. I would definitely recommend making a booking with Jorge.
