Lagoa do Fogo Half Day Tour

Rui was intelligent, gracious, flexible, organized and the tour was a total joy. He even managed to part the fog so we could see the lake of fire. Thank you Rui.

Rui was the perfect tour guide. He was flexible when our ship came in late and met us anyway! He showed us the options that where available to us in the time we had, and took us where we were most inclined to go. He provided options within that option as we moved along. He was most knowledgeable of the place and the culture, and he was personable and just fun to be with! We had a lovely day in Ponta Delgada because of Rui and would recommend him without reservation!

Rui is outstanding. Very knowledgable and attentive to our needs. He provided an in-depth overview but also gave us alternatives, and options as we toured. Nothing was canned or required, and we enjoyed all his suggestions of what to see. Very light and interesting. Outstanding comfort in his car and we were well ahead of the other tours and went to other locations that were very interesting. We plan to visit Azores again and will definitely use Rui again.

Riu was an excellent guide. he offered a great deal of information about the area as this is his home. He gave us options of what we could do and see, and waited while we went off on our own a couple of times. His suggestions for negotiating our timeline and needs were very helpful.
