Our original guide, Pedro, was ill the day of our tour, so he arranged for his associate, Ramiro to take his place. His English was excellent. He is still a student but knew his history well and was passionate about his country. He was very personable and patient with us older tourists. We had a good tour of historic Belém and enjoyed the Pastel de Belém as well as the Monument to the Discoveries and a Basilica back in Lisbon. He did not allow enough time to cover some of the sites on our agenda; however, what he did cover was well presented. All-in-all a good tour.
