This tour will make you feel like a real Lisbon inhabitant! Allow to take you through the heart of the city, immerse yourself in the city while walking in districts such as the lively Bairro Alto, the fancy Chiado, the 8th century oldest district of Alfama and the busy downtown Baixa where I go shopping on my own quite often. Lisbon is known as the city of the seven hills and that is why we are going through them using hidden elevators to visit some breathtaking lookouts and views from this amazing hills, we will really capture the feel of the city. These are the oldest sections of Lisbon but if you love modern art I can also show you the newest district in the city - the Nations Park. In order to feel and understand the locals, I will show everyday life facilities and residential neighborhoods like Belem and Avenidas Novas. It's restaurants, shops, and much more! Do not miss the chance to not only visit beautiful places but also to understand the culture of the Portuguese!
Gloria was a wonderful tour guide for the two of us. She took us on a full day of sightseeing in historic Lisbon, tailored to exactly what we wanted to experience. She was so friendly, has a vast knowledge of the local history, art and politics, and was incredibly enthusiastic throughout the entire tour. She also offered helpful recommendations for restaurants and shopping during our stay. We would highly recommend Gloria!
Spent a fabulous day with Gloria walking in the city center. A wonderful way to get an introduction to Lisbon. Time with Gloria is 100% well spent.
We had a wonderful day with Gloria. She is prompt, knowledgeable, energetic and passionate about Lisbon. Thank you for a memorable experience!
Gloria led us on a wonderful, informative, and fun tour of Lisbon. She is professional, understands what her clients want, and is energetic and lots of fun. We gained much more in the day with her than if we had managed to visit all the sites by ourselves. She knows lots of hidden gems and is great at explaining what you are seeing in a way you can remember. Highly recommend!
Gloria was and is a knowledgeable, professional guide. We were able to customize our tour, and was flexible as time, weather and local idiosyncrasies occurred. She was timely, communicated promptly with all courtesy. I would highly recommend her.
Gloria provided two couples from the U.S. a fantastic full-day private tour of Lisbon. She was wonderfully personable and deeply knowledgeable, sharing interesting insights into Portuguese history and the places we visited in Lisbon. Sampling authentic food and drinks during our tour was a huge highlight. Gloria’s genuine pride in her heritage made this an incredibly immersive and memorable experience.
