* Fort 2 “Kościuszko” We begin at the foot of the Kościuszko Mound, a symbol of Polish independence transformed into a powerful Austro-Hungarian artillery fort. * Fort 51 1/2 Swoszowice Here we dive deeper into the daily life of soldiers during World War I with an extended visit to the Military Affairs Museum. You’ll discover original weapons, equipment, and personal items that bring the era vividly to life. * Forts 52 Borek and 52a Łapianka A brief stop showing a different side of history—how former military sites have been adapted for modern use. * Fort 31 “Benedykt” We visit the circular Maximilian Tower and enjoy panoramic views over the Podgórze district. * Fort 49 Krzesławice & 49 1/4 Grębałów These forts witnessed tragic events during World War II, including mass executions.
