My attitude towards my country was shaped by my family: the grandparents, all of whom still had the trauma and vivid memories of World War II, and my parents, who spent their 20s watching the long-awaited fall of communism. This background is the reason for my fascination with the 20th century history. It makes me extremely proud that after 30 years of struggle to "catch up with the West" Poland is gaining so much recognition from world travelers and I feel privileged to get to share with you the amazing history and culture of my country! For my education, I chose two faculties: Tourism and English Language & Culture. Now, after 11 years of working as a city guide and tour leader, I believe this was a perfect combination which helped me provide first-class service to my guests. My energy, sunny disposition, and fascination with Krakow are contagious and will make your visit here worthwhile never mind the weather or time of day! A perfect welcome tour to Krakow for visitors who want to get their bearings in Krakow, become familiar with the city's fascinating story and find out where to go to eat & drink like a local. During the tour we will visit the Old Town of Krakow, the Royal Hill and Kazimierz, the former Jewish Quarter. The tour includes a visit the most important sights and landmarks, but also places a bit off the beaten track to feel the atmosphere of our local life.
We had the good fortune to choose Zuzanna to guide us throughout Krakow and Nowa Huta. Zuzanna was always on time bringing a smile, professionalism and a deep understanding of history and culture. We could not be more pleased to give her the highest recommendation!!
I had an outstanding walking tour with Zuzanna. Five star. We covered a LOT of ground in Krakow but more importantly, Zuzanna wove together the complex story of Poland, including history, Jewish and Catholic religion and communities, cultures, economics, even current world events.
