Hello, my name is Aga. I was born in Krakow and since then it's been my place on Earth. I graduated from the Japanese Philology at the Jagiellonian University. I used to work in a big corporation but one day I decided to quit my job. I signed up to the course for the professional guides. After I had passed all difficult exams, I got a certificate and the badge with the coat of arms of Kraków and number 333. My dreams came true and now I do the best job ever. I show people around my home town. Some say I'm lucky because I do what I love. That's right. I've guided hundreds of groups, couples, singles, children, families, company workers. Some of them became my friends and still come back to Kraków. Some post their reviews and comments on my Facebook page, some send emails… so many warm words… It makes me a happy guide. Aga is incredibly knowledgeable about Krakow and its history. She guided us through 7 centuries of the city’s history holding our attention the whole way. She loves the city and it shows as she relates many things to her family’s history. All this and she made fun. It was a great day.
Aga was wonderful. Her knowledge of the current city and the historical facts was more that impressive. Aga was very accommodating when it came to my lack of mobility. We have had many guides in many countries over many years. My wife and I agree that she was the absolute best.

I had a great day with Aga. First, her English is excellent. Her knowledge of both Polish and Krakow history was amazing. I had many questions and she answered every one of them. The tour of Krakow was excellent as we were able to see so many great sights in the city. Aga's timing was also excellent, as were we were able to watch the opening of the altar panels at St. Mary's Basillica and the clock at the University. She helped guide me in buying pertinent gifts for my family. I learned so much while having fun.
Aga was a wonderful guide and explained both the ancient and modern history of Krakow in exciting detail. She made us feel what is was to experience the end of communism and the hope and promise that electrified the university students of the time. She also has personal insight into the role of the Church in those fraught times. Certainly one of the best guides we've had in any city.
More than three hours or two kilometres are perfect to see: - medieval fortifications: Barbican, defence walls and Florian's Gate - the largest ever Main Market Square with St. Mary's Basilica, the Cloth Hall, St. Adalbert's Church, the City Hall Tower and thousands of pigeons :-) - the University District to feel like students of the oldest Alma Mater in Poland - my favourite longest municipal park - "green necklace" of Kraków - the Pope's Window at the Bishop's Palace and Papa's favourite St. Francis' Church - baroque church of Saints Peter and Paul and romanesque St. Andrew's Church as neighbors - the oldest Kanonicza Street with medieval townhouses still remembering their first owners - Wawel Royal Castle with its renaissance, breathtaking courtyard - the Cathedral, royal tombs and. . . the Sigismund's Tower. . . to make a wish and touch the clapper of the heaviest bell ever! The tour ends on the Wawel Hill. Now it's time for coffee at the summer cafe garden with a beautiful view to Kosciuszko's Mound.
