Hi, my name is Agata. I come from Cracow. I am a musician (singer), and a 5 years ago I moved back from Boston MA (USA) where I spent the last 4, 5 years studying at the Berklee College of Music. Now I am performing mainly in Europe. I am attending the PhD program at the Jagiellonian University, where I also teach (Management sciences, Humanities). Organizing trips in Cracow and its area - this is my passion. I am very proud Cracovian and I enjoy very much hosting people from all over the world. I love to cook and eat, tell the stories and legends or just discuss the current political situation in Poland ;) I can show you Cracow: Old Town, Kazimierz, Podgorze or industrial Nowa Huta. I can also take my guests to Cracow's surroundings - Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Zakopane, Zawoja, Tarnow, Czorsztyn - just name the place, I will organize the trip with the pleasure. Basically showing around my beautiful city to foreign guests is always a great adventure for me, as well as the opportunity to meet new people. I travel very often on my own, so I know how to settle my guests in a new place. Waiting for the challenges - all customized trips are welcome! Guys! Polish folklore is captivating, the cuisine is really delicious, polish history is really interesting. I would like to show you the cultural richness of my region. Or, I can just take you for a beer/ coffee to one of the legendary pubs in Krakow and show you so called "must see". Anyhow, it's always a pleasure to meet you. - Musician (BD) - Culture studies (BD) - Culture Management sciences (MD) - Management sciences, Humanities - Tour Leader license I am not a licensed guide at the Auschwitz - Birkenau Museum. I am not a licensed guide at the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

Overview of your Krakow tour

Krakow - the former capital of Poland, nowadays, because of its beauty and vitality it is said to be the cultural capital of Poland. Take a walk with me within the Old Town walls. I will take you to the most important areas of Cracow for me and feed you with the polish food - do you like pierogi, pączki, zapiekanki? Wieliczka Salt Mine - inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List - see the breathtaking underground lakes, lanes and chapels carved in salt ages ago. This is one of my favorite tours: while walking around the underground city, breath in the greatest smell of all (the saline). You will feel in no time healthier. This is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes. But it's good - you will burn all the calories from the Krakow tour part!

The salt mine tour is a must see in krakow- and Agata made it very easy to do. She picked us up at the hotel, dropped us off right at the mine, and was waiting right there when the tour was over. It was an amazing sight to see the underground carvings. After the mine, Agata took us around the Old Town of krakow explaining to us the history while stopping periodically for some local sweet treats and refreshments. She is extremely knowledgeable and always sensitive to when we might need a break! I highly recommend Agata if you have a stay in krakow and want to see the sights. We worked with her for two days and she was able to tailor our days to what we wanted to see. Can’t wait to come back and see all that we missed!

Agata gave us a wonderful tour. She personalized our tour for some of the areas we wanted to see and then gave us many more suggestions for additional visits. She also gave us a wonderful dinner recommendations. We would highly recommend her for anyone wanting a tour in Krakow!

Our trip to Wieliczka (for that matter, our trip to Poland) was so much enhanced by having Agata as our tour guide! She’ll take you to and from the mine, make sure you’re all squared away with tickets and where to go when you arrive—but better than that, was her tour of the Old Town! Be sure to have her recommend restaurants—she’s a foodie! Wonderful company and the perfect person to make you feel like you’re really ‘getting’ Krakow.

Knowledgeable and pleasant, Agatha had a good plan for the day and kept us on schedule. She knew where to stand to hear the tower trumpet in Old Town, and how to avoid the cheap souvenirs in Cloth Hall. She loves food and will be sure you try local treats. She provided time to wander a bit on our own in select locations as well. We used WhatsApp all day and it worked well for communicating our locations to meet back up. As for improvement feedback, I noticed all the guides I booked for other tours immediately sent a “hello” message to acknowledge the booking and ask about my interests. Agata did not do that, so perhaps that would be something to add.
