Full Day Zakopane Tour

Zakopane is a picturesque town located in southern Poland, in the Tatra Mountains. Known as the winter capital of Poland, it is a popular destination for mountain lovers. Zakopane offers many attractions, such as Krupówki street, which is filled with shops and restaurants, and numerous ski resorts. The area also boasts beautiful hiking trails, Gubałówka is a popular hill in Zakopane, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains and the surrounding area. You can reach the top either by hiking or taking a funicular railway. At the summit, there are restaurants, souvenir shops, and places to relax while enjoying the stunning views. A trip to Zakopane is a full-day excursion. We start in the morning, around 8-9 AM, but of course, this depends on your preferences. Zakopane is about 100 km away, and we arrive after 2-3 hours, depending on road conditions. First, we go up to the top of Gubałówka, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the mountains. There are also plenty of restaurants where you can sit down, relax, and have a coffee—or a beer, depending on your preference. Then, you take the funicular down while I drive the car to meet you at the bottom. Next, we head to the city center, where we park and stop at Krupówki Street, the main street of Zakopane. It is full of shops and attractions. Here, you’ll have a break of about 2-3 hours, depending on your preference. After that, we drive to the charming village of Chochołów, which is also listed as a UNESCO heritage site due to its spectacular wooden architecture. The entire village is built of wood! Finally, we return to Kraków, arriving back around 5-6 PM. Thank you very much!
