Hi, my name is Agata. I come from Cracow. I am a musician (singer), and a 5 years ago I moved back from Boston MA (USA) where I spent the last 4, 5 years studying at the Berklee College of Music. Now I am performing mainly in Europe. I am attending the PhD program at the Jagiellonian University, where I also teach (Management sciences, Humanities). Organizing trips in Cracow and its area - this is my passion. I am very proud Cracovian and I enjoy very much hosting people from all over the world. I love to cook and eat, tell the stories and legends or just discuss the current political situation in Poland ;) I can show you Cracow: Old Town, Kazimierz, Podgorze or industrial Nowa Huta. I can also take my guests to Cracow's surroundings - Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Zakopane, Zawoja, Tarnow, Czorsztyn - just name the place, I will organize the trip with the pleasure. Basically showing around my beautiful city to foreign guests is always a great adventure for me, as well as the opportunity to meet new people. I travel very often on my own, so I know how to settle my guests in a new place. Waiting for the challenges - all customized trips are welcome! Guys! Polish folklore is captivating, the cuisine is really delicious, polish history is really interesting. I would like to show you the cultural richness of my region. Or, I can just take you for a beer/ coffee to one of the legendary pubs in Krakow and show you so called "must see". Overview of your Krakow tour

The description of the Salt Mine experience - magnificent chambers chiselled out in rock salt. Amazing underground saline lakes, majestic timber constructions and unique statues sculpted in salt. Almost 3 kilometers of meandering corridors, 800 steps to climb of which 350 have to be descended to reach the depth of 135 meters underground. Thus it is no surprise that till now, the Tourist Route, the main visiting route of the mine has been visited by 41, 500, 000 tourists from around the whole world in search of adventures. The journey starts at the Danilowicz Shaft. Here, visitors meet their on site guide, who during their excursion will tell them everything they want to know about the mine history and its secrets. I actually leave 10min away from Wieliczka town and in the literally adjacent building to the mine entrance I conduct music classes, so I know the area pretty well. If you need a food recommendation or you'd like to spend a bit more time in this charming little town, I am happy to assist you.

If it was possible to rate this tour higher, I would have done so! Agata assisted me with bookings even before our arrival, was very intelligent, knowledgeable and balanced in her views on the day which gave us a good understanding of the history and current situation in Poland, she was punctual and made sure every step of the way that we knew where we had to be, checked in on us when we were inside the mine, drove safely and her recommendations were all spot on! Loved every moment.

Agata was extremely friendly. From the very beginning of the tour I could tell that I would enjoy Agata's company. Agata went out of her way to talk about Poland and Krakow in particular as we were driving to the Salt Mine. Agata has an amazing past and we enjoyed pleasant conversation all day. We did the Old Krakow walking tour with Agata and she was so good we booked to go to the Salt Mines with her. She was brilliant on this trip too -full of interesting facts and anecdotes. She organised booking ahead to beat the queues and picked us up from our hotel in plenty of time. Agata is adaptable if you want to do something different and really tailors her tours to her individual clients. She is worth her weight in gold!
