I am a Krakow local guide with a deep personal connection to the city and nearly 18 years of experience guiding visitors from around the world. When you book a tour with me, it feels less like a standard guided tour and more like discovering Krakow with a local friend- someone who was born here and genuinely loves sharing the true spirit of the city. I enjoy taking guests beyond the obvious routes, sharing lesser-known corners & local spots you would not usually discover on your own. My goal is simple: I want you to feel the city, not just see it. I guide with energy, curiosity, and professionalism. I guided alumni guests from major US Universities, VIP guests art and history enthusiasts as well as young travelers who want to witness places that focus on WWII history. My academic background is in applied linguistics, art, and Jewish studies. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (graphics and photography) and studied at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. This allows me to naturally combine art, architecture, history, language, and everyday life into one coherent and engaging narrative. Jewish heritage and genealogy are a particularly important part of my work. I regularly guide guests interested in Jewish Krakow, family history, and genealogical research, always with great sensitivity and respect. I assist visitors who are tracing their roots, exploring former Jewish neighborhoods and archives, and trying to place their family stories within the wider historical context of Poland and Central Europe. I continue to study Hebrew (including Ulpan programs in Haifa and Tel Aviv), which is especially helpful in archival work and in supporting guests from the Jewish diaspora. My aim is to offer experiences that are informative, warm, and genuine- leaving you with a deeper understanding of Poland, and a real sense of connection to the place and its stories. Come with me to a wonderful local adventure where we are going to explore real food of Poland! I will show you the best local places - we will visit the best restaurants which serve the best examples of Polish food, we will explore Krakow's Farmer's Market in the vicinity of the Old Town where I will show you our local products and you will have a chance to sample the best Polish cheese and bread. We will also explore the place with famous Polish street food and definitely visit the place with my favorite PIEROGIES (famous Polish dumplings). I would also like to take you to Kazimierz area where we will sample some vodka and beer or the best hot chocolate in town :) How does this sound?
The tour is a combination of history and culture with food samples on the way. - My recommendation is to start this tour at the begining of your stay in Krakow. I would suggest to start this tour during lunch time. - We will meet in the city centre of Krakow or at your hotel lobby (please provide me with info where you stay) - We will continue our visit around the area of Main Market Square where we pass the best places to try Polish food - with the visit to famous Farmer's Market in Krakow - Later, we will drive to Kazimierz area where I will show you local flavours of the city. The tour will focus on nowadays Kazimierz with its vibrant local atmosphere. At the end of the tour I will walk you back to your hotel If you have preferences, please let me know and I will customise the tour.
