Call me Zee, unless you'd prefer my Polish name - Zbigniew. Tough one, isn't it? If Polish seems like the Mandarin of Europe to you do not worry, I am fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese so you will learn all about the Royal City of Krakow in a language most familiar to you. I was born in this beautiful city almost 30 years ago. Growing up surrounded by sites of many important historical events has left me with deep appreciation for Krakow's beauty and its importance on the national and international level. Learn the history of this historical capital of the Republic of Poland as well as the history of the country itself. Retrace the steps of Oscar Schindler (did he compile the famous Schindler's list?) and find out what the lives of Polish and Jewish people looked like during the Second World War. Get to know why Krakow survived both of the World Wars and why is it one of the better preserved cities of WWII. A trip to the 'young country of Poland' is sure to surprise you. Find out why I refer to it as a 'young country' even though you will see a plethora of centuries old, historical sites all around you. No matter how much time you will have in the Royal City of Krakow it may always prove too little. Allow me to accompany you while you enjoy the sites of this magnificent settlement in a manner most suited to your needs, interests and schedules. During my time as a guide I have gathered countless feedback for my tours which mentions that I am a very organized, knowledgable and passionate guide however I will leave that to your judgement. I am a well traveled, internationally educated individual. Due to my experience I am always able to connect with my groups and find common grounds upon which to build our experiences together. I have operated walking tours, Segway tours as well as bike tours. I am confident to be able to provide a fully personalized, well-though-out experiences. My entire offer is fully flexible and 100% adjustable. I am more than happy to accommodate any requests you might have. I cater to all of your needs, interests and wishes. I am looking forward to meeting you in person! Overview of your Krakow tour

The visit to the largest of the German concentration camps and extermination centres were over 1. 1 million of men, women and children lost their lives is a powerful experience and an opportunity to confront our own idea of humanity and mankind. KL Auschwitz-Birkenau is a symbol of terror and genocide but also a tribute to the strength and resilience of the many survivors. See firsthand where despite the many atrocities, humanity prevailed. I invite you to confront with this difficult part of the history of WW2. History unknown is bound to be repeated therefore we must never let the memory of the dark side of mankind be forgotten. The 1. 5 hours journey from Krakow to Auschwitz will be a great opportunity for us to chat and exchange ideas and knowledge about this difficult but also very interesting time in our history.

We made a great choice when selecting Zee as our guide to/from Auschwitz-Birkenau. He was clear to communicate with approaching and on the day of our tour. He was on time with a comfortable car, and was great company on the way to the site. He set the expectations clearly for the day and was incredibly knowledgeable about Polish history. He provided context and answered all our questions before and after the tour about the war, impact and more. He even helped us with our planning for the salt mines and helped us get a reservation for an accessibility friendly tour. Would use him again for future trips in a heart beat.

Zee did a fantastic job! He picked us up promptly at our hotel and drove us to Auschwitz-Birkenau. The drive was comfortable and relaxing. He let us know exactly what to expect when we arrived to the camp and even stopped for a restroom break just before our final stop. He led us to the museum entrance (we were able to avoid the long lines) and stayed with us until we were with the museum tour guides. He was ready for us when we were finished with our tour and gave us recommendations of the best places in the city on our way back to Krakow. My family and I highly recommend booking with Zee for any tour!
