I am a graduate from a Pedagogic Academy of Cracow with a Master's Degree in History. The link between history and everyday life has always fascinated me. I spent four years in The United States. This is where I have mastered my command of English. Upon my return to Cracow I decided to use it in speaking to foreigners about this city's history. I have always enjoyed many different cultures, and therefore, I would like others to enjoy mine as well. Overview of your Krakow tour
After over two decades of my experience of being a tour guide in Poland it never ceases to amaze me that some historical sites not only need to be visited many times, but they need to be shared with others. My master's degree in history equipped me with a unique perspective that I am very happy to share with you upon your visit to Poland. My most memorable experience as a guide is taking visitors to Auschwitz. One can never feel at ease visiting one the most tragic sites, which served as a factory of death. Knowing stories about significant places might make one more knowledgeable about them but sharing them with visitors always puts adds a new perspective on experiencing them, and thereby humanizes them. Over the years I had the privilege of meeting and many notable individuals including Eva Kor, who was subjected to Josef Mengele's experiments at Auschwitz.

Had a great time with Marta on the drive to and from Auschwitz. She was very good in providing historical information about Auschwitz, WWII, and Poland in general. She walked us to the entrance at Auschwitz and talked us through exactly what to expect once we were through the entry point. As she recommended, we WhatsApp'd her on the ride back from Birkenau and she waiting for us at the initial drop off point. Overall, would highly recommend Marta as a Krakow tour guide. She also gave us pointers on fantastic restaurants and Polish foods to try.

Marta is fabulous! She picked us up from our hotel on time, drove us to Auschwitz (we had previously purchased the entrance tickets on our own), walked us through the entry & check-in process and waited with us until our guide arrived. She then brought us a yummy sack lunch (we did the 6 hr tour so we had a lunch break), picked us up at the end & dropped us back at our hotel in Krakow. It couldn’t have been made any easier. She is very knowledgeable about Polish history & about Auschwitz and we learned a lot from her. Plus she was fun to chat with. Auschwitz is not an easy place to visit, it’s very emotionally taxing; having all the logistics handled was fabulous!

Marta was on time to pick us up (both times), her van fit our group of 6 comfortably and she was very professional. In addition to picking us up at our location in Krakow, she arranged to get our entrance tickets to Auschwitz. She went out of her way to take us to the Commandants house, just outside the Auschwitz gates, before our tour started. Thank you for a wonderful day Marta!

First option Private tour with a local guide the price is 970PLZ . Auschwitz guide is not refundable. Second option Group tour the price is 150 PLZ per person. Ticket is not refundable. I will not be accompanying you inside Auschwitz Museum. Due to local restrictions I cannot guide you inside" -transfer by car to Auschwitz (transfer duration about 1 hour 30 minutes) -guided tour with an English speaking guide in Auschwitz I (duration 2 hours). -a short break. -transfer by car to Auschwitz II Birkenau (the second camp known from Schindler's List by Spielberg is located 1 mile from Auschwitz). -guided tour (about 1 hour). -transfer by car back to your hotel in Krakow.
