Auschwitz - Birkenau full day tour from Krakow

After over two decades of my experience of being a tour guide in Poland it never ceases to amaze me that some historical sites not only need to be visited many times, but they need to be shared with others. My master's degree in history equipped me with a unique perspective that I am very happy to share with you upon your visit to Poland. My most memorable experience as a guide is taking visitors to Auschwitz. One can never feel at ease visiting one the most tragic sites, which served as a factory of death. Knowing stories about significant places might make one more knowledgeable about them but sharing them with visitors always puts adds a new perspective on experiencing them, and thereby humanizes them. Over the years I had the privilege of meeting and many notable individuals including Eva Kor, who was subjected to Josef Mengele's experiments at Auschwitz.
