My name is Alex and I would like to invite you to Krakow, where I was born and with which my whole life is connected. For twenty years I have been working in tourism as a licensed guide and tour escort. My hobby is to read all kinds of books, but above all, those that present the history of Poland and Europe. I am really satisfied when I can present my knowledge and experience that I have gained in recent years. Poland is a country with over 1, 000 years of history and an exceptional cultural heritage. The diversity of historical places, beautiful landscapes and great Polish cuisine encourage people from all over the world to visit this country. I am glad that you have decided to visit Poland as well. I would like to show you the most beautiful places in Krakow and its surroundings. Krakow is a city with a rich history and a multicultural heritage. You will never regret the time spent visiting this city. Of course, I will be happy to accompany you as your private guide. In the vicinity of Krakow is difficult to count the number of places that are really worth a visit during a half or full day trip. Take only the Wieliczka Salt Mine or Auschwitz-Birkenau, which together with the Krakow's Old Town is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In addition, after just 2 hours of driving you can find yourself in the Polish Tatras mountains with such a different culture and taste that characterizes Polish highlanders. There are also options for pilgrims who would like to follow the footsteps of Pope John Paul II. I invite you to visit all these places with me. We can do one trip together or combine a multi-day route tailored to your expectations. I am also open to traveling with you to other places that are not listed on my trip list. I am looking forward to receiving your message. I provide all trips with my own comfortable, air-conditioned cars (Mercedes Vito and Audi Q5). Guide license no. PM/379/2000 Tour Leader license no. PW/61/04 Driving license Transportation license Please be informed that some places have own guides ( Auschwitz-Birkenau, Salt Mine Wieliczka).

I think it is obvious to everyone that John Paul II was not an important figure only for me and all Poles. He has done a lot for all of us. Saint Faustina is a figure that was noticed by John Paul II. He also made Sister Faustina famous all over the world. During this tour, we will visit Wadowice - the birthplace, and hometown of John Paul II. You will have the opportunity to visit his family house and church where he was baptized. Moreover we will visit Kalwaria Zebrzydowska - Calvary which is listed on the Unesco heritage list and the place where John Paul II pilgrimed since he was young and during his papal mission. We will not forget about the cult of Divine Mercy - Łagiewniki. There you will find holy relics of St Faustyna Kowalska and a painting of Jesus the Merciful. Highlights: - Home of John Paul II - Church of baptism JP II - Kalwaria Zebrzydowska - monastery where JPII pilgrimaged mostly - Old and new basilica in Lagiewniki with the shrine of Saint Faustina
- Pick up from your hotel - Transfer to Wadowice and visit in the museum of JPII (approx 2 hours) - Transfer to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska - walk the interior of the monastery (approx 1 hour) - Transfer to Krakow - Łagiewniki Sanctuary - walk inside Old and New basilica (approx 1, 5 hour) - Back to your hotel or wherever you wish Please be informed that the order of visited places can be changed.
