Salt Mine Tour from Krakow

Genuine enthusiasm and a real passion for Poland - Zuzanna has it in abundance. During our time with her she looked after us in a warm, heartfelt and natural manner. We have used TBL several times and Zuzanna is not just a credit to the company but to the Polish tourist industry. She is one of those exceptional guides who has tremendous empathy for her travelling guests. A visit to Auschwitz (I believe it is an essential part of anyone seeing Krakow) can certainly be emotionally challenging. Zuzanna provided us with the necessary context prior to the visit to help us understand better what we were about to witness. And after both Auschwitz and Birkenau she allowed for decompression time in order that we may gather our thoughts. This made the visit all the more poignant. We will certainly book her for our future visits to Krakow.

Zuzanna was a wonderful tour guide. She picked us up at our hotel a few minutes early and got us to the salt mine in time even tho traffic was bad due to fog. She also called the salt mine to make sure they waited until we arrived. She also met us at the mine exit and drove us back to the hotel. Zuzanna is very personable and we enjoyed here perspectives.

What at an amazing place to see and visit. Definitely a must do when in Krakow. A very friendly guide.

We spent two wonderful days with Zuzanna in Poland. The first day we visited the hometown of Pope John Paul, II and The Divine Mercy Sanctuary where St. Faustina lived. It was a wonderful experience and Zuzanna was full of wonderful information. We enjoyed a really good meal of local cuisine and a small, quaint restaurant. Then we went on a tour of Auschwitz which was very emotional and sad. If we could give Zuzanna 6 stars, we would. She was great!

Zuzanna is a great guide. My wife and I are from the USA and wanted to see the historical sites in Krakow. Zuzanna coordinated our tours and provided great insight about the history of the places we toured. We highly recommend her.

Zuzanna is a GREAT Tour Guide. Very highly recommended! We did 3 private tours with her. Zuzanna made Poland, its people, and history come alive for us. She is very knowledgeable and experienced while still being enthusiastic. Although Zuzanna has been on the Salt Mine tour over 100 times as a translator from Polish to English, only Salt Mine employees are allowed to give the tour. Zuzanna got us to the salt mine with interesting conversation and background, and then found a fun "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant for us afterwards. Zuzanna's English is excellent (university and a year living in the states). Her van is clean with lots of windows and AC if you need it. She's a safe relaxed driver. We've done private tours in multiple countries: Zuzanna is top notch, worth every penny. This tour has ~800 steps down, but an elevator ride up and ~6000 walking steps while underground. A fun tour.
