For Catholics from all over the world, Czestochowa's Monastery is one of the most important places of pilgrimage in the world. The Icon of "Black Madonna" - attributed to miracles is the most precious relic of the monastery. Millions of pilgrims visit Jasna Góra each year to pray to the Black Madonna. Ogrodzieniec Gothic castle built in the middle of the 14th century. In 17th and 18th century, the castle was burnt by the Swedish troops. After second fire, it was never rebuilt. The ruins of Ogrodzieniec castle are the most impressive of the other castles.
