Hello! I'm Ravil. I moved to Amsterdam from Nijmegen in 1996 and what was supposed to be a new chapter in my life eventually became home. Over the years I found myself spending more and more time showing friends, visitors and eventually travellers around the Netherlands. More than 20 years later, I still enjoy it as much as ever. I specialize in private car tours for people who prefer a flexible day rather than a rigid schedule. Some guests arrive with a detailed list of places they want to see. Others simply want to spend a day with a local and discover whatever looks interesting along the way. Both approaches are perfectly fine with me. Personally, I have always been drawn to smaller towns and the Dutch countryside. Amsterdam is wonderful, but I think the Netherlands reveals itself best in places where everyday life still moves at its own pace. A village café, a quiet canal, an unexpected conversation or a stop that wasn't in the original plan often become the highlights of the day. Some guests enjoy history, architecture, and art. Others are more interested in local life, food or simply seeing the country beyond the tourist hotspots. My job is not to rush you through a checklist, but to help you experience the Netherlands in a way that suits your interests. When I'm not guiding, I enjoy travelling myself. During the winter months, you'll frequently find me exploring Southeast Asia, which constantly reminds me what it's like to be a visitor in a foreign country. We travel in my modern SUV, comfortable for up to four passengers. For larger groups, I can arrange a minivan. I guide in English, Dutch and Russian, hold a professional driving licence, and am officially registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.

The tour starts in The Hague. We begin with a walk through the Binnenhof, the seat of the Dutch Parliament, then continue to Noordeinde Palace, passing several historic landmarks. An optional visit to the Mauritshuis Museum can be included to view masterpieces by Vermeer and Rembrandt. We then drive to the Peace Palace, home to the International Court of Justice, followed by a brief stop in Scheveningen, a former fishing village by the sea. In the afternoon, we head to Delft, the picturesque town of Vermeer. We'll explore the Grote Markt with its New Church and Old Town Hall, stroll along the canals to the Old Church, and visit the garden of the Prinsenhof, once home to Willem the Silent. Time will be set aside for lunch in the historic centre.
