Hello: I am Hector Lopez, I am Tapatio with this word, those born in Guadalajara are known. In 1985, the Secretary of Tourism of Mexico authorized me and gave me my license to work as a tourist guide. Since then I have accumulated many hours as a full-time professional tourist guide. At first I worked with large groups in 40 pax buses. Guiding groups through different cities in Mexico. Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Morelia, Patzcuaro, Zacatecas, etc. Around Guadalajara because it is the place where I live. Tlaquepaque, Tonala, Lake Chapala, Tequila distilleries. Now I only work with small groups from one person to six. In this way I provide a personal service so I enjoy my work more. And I think my passengers are more satisfied when they enjoy the tour they paid for. More years of experience that I gained over the years. I am a graduate from Guadalajara University. For these reasons I think I am one of the best options to visit the West of Mexico as well as my state that is Jalisco and of course my hometown Guadalajara, I still enjoy doing a tour with tourist My hobbies are hiking mountains. running, and swimming (I still do it three times a week) I have 2 children graduated from college, both working. REGARDS Tour guide bonded by the Tourist Secretaría of Mexico since 1985. Graduated fron Guadalajara's University. Tourist servise school. Engineering School. I have no restrictions to do my job as a tourist guide

40 miles from Guadalajara city at the Mexican western Sierra Madre, 5500 feet above sea level, is the magical and picturesque lake. "Chapala" the largest lake in México, with the second best microclimate in the world and a large community of retirees from the USA. At Chapala village we will find local handicrafts, 18th century Neoclassical church, a large pier to walk along the lake shore and enjoy the weather. Due to the height from the sea level, the lake and the climate, all kinds of vegetation and flowers grow, blooming all year, like the poinsettia flower blooms for almost 5 months. The Ajijic village, founded in the 16th century by Franciscan monks, is a small and picturesque town, with handicrafts, art galleries, narrow and cobbled streets. 16th century Fraciscan mission, with an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. For lunch we go to a restaurant facing the lake, with an outside patio, and we have lunch under a large leafy rubber tree or inside a closed area, food is high Mexican cuisine style.

Fantastic experience! Just the perfect tour at lake Chapala. Our guide, Hector, was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the history and the nice spots to see as well as letting us enjoy a superb lunch at the side of the lake. No doubt a recommendable experience.
I will write down the itinerary without specific hours, it all depends on the time the tour starts. * We meet at the hotel at the agreed time. * We are heading to Lake Chapala and approximately 42 miles and 1:20 hrs. driving time. * The first place to visit is Chapala village, where we will drive around the area, and have time to walk and shop at the craft market, walk at the lake shore. * We continue to Ajijic village, driving through the residential areas, to admire the flowers and houses where the foreign retirees live. As soon as we arrive we drive around the town, we stop in a commercial area to admire and walk among the exclusive crafts of this little town. * Later we will go to the restaurant for lunch. * Finishing lunch we return to Guadalajara to your hotel. Note: Depending on the start time, it is lunch time. Depending the traffic is the driving time back to the city.
