Jalisco is home to the most representative items that represent Mexico in the world, Mariachi, Tequila and hat dance. But there is more in this land than those brands dyed by Hollywood to our country. I was born and raised in San Andres, one of the oldest barrios (neighborhoods) in Guadalajara, I belong to a large Mexican family. When I was 19 years old I went for an adventure to the United States, young and single with nothing to lose and lots to gain I migrated to the States. I was fortunate to meet lots of people from all over the world while I went to study in a community college, then I learned that there were lots of misconceptions about Mexico. First I study a GED and along the way I obtain an associated degree in liberal arts, then I decide I should do something to teach people about my country and I studied an associated degree in Traveling and Tourism. In the USA I lived mostly on the west coast but also for a while on the east coast. In the year 2000 I applied to the tourism bureau to get my credentials to become a Tourist guide and in 2001 I obtained a four-year permit which I renew twice and after twelve years I obtained my permanent permit. During this time I have met people from all over the world and I have participated in T. V. programs, radio programs, I have aided book writers and help people in different investigations. Family members search, climate change, owls research among many other adventures. So, since 2001 I've been guiding people from all over the world and enjoying what I do giving my best to every single person I have helped. Please allow me to show you my home and be part of your memories, memories that you will make when traveling into a new world that is waiting for you and your dear family members. Guadalajara is a city that begun soon after the Spaniards arrived on the American continent, has much to tell us as we travel its streets and boulevards. We will walk through Guadalajara's old town city, visiting some of its famous buildings and churches, traversing its breathtaking plazas. One, of many, highlights of this tour, is the Mercado Libertad, Guadalajara's multileveled market housing more than 1, 400 vendors under the same roof. The coup-de-grace of this tour are the Orozco's murals.
Orozco Murals, Guadalajara's Cathedral, State Capitol Building, Guadalajara's city hall, Plaza de Armas, Plaza Guadalajara, Illustrious Jalisciences Plaza, Liberacion Plaza, Plaza Tapatia, Founder's Plaza, Liberty Market, Jose Clemente Orozco Murals at State Capitol Building, Instituto Cabañas, We may visit the library Iberoamericana Octavio Paz and the Siqueiroz Murals. We would try to see everything above mentioned, we like to show you all at your own pace and explain to you what we would see. Please contact me for customization.
