Agave Fields and Tequila Full Day Tour

In Mexico we have different drinks with denomination of origin such as tequila. This tour we'll teach you about the spiritous beverage and its history. We will discover the difference in the quality of tequila, mixed and 100% agave and these are divided into white (silver), reposado, añejo and extraañejo. We will also discover the difference between Tequila and Mezcal (originally from Oaxaca) which is another of the drinks with designation of origin. There are different factories along the ruta del Tequila you'll see the agave fields that extend for many square miles, that are nominated by UNESCO as world heritage site. We will visit the Pueblo Magico of Tequila, with its square and colonial temples

- This tour will begging at your most convenient location, ( hotel, B&B, home, plaza or any other place where you may want to be pick up. ) or time. - I recomend to begin at 9:30 a. m. The town of Tequila is located at 48 miles north-west from Guadalajara's downtown, Along the way to this magnificent place -. - We'll admire agave fields if is possible we will stop at the edge of the road to see closely the plants called Agave azul Tequilana Wever, and we'll talk about the history and benefits of this spiritous beverage, we'll pass by litle towns like El Arenal, Amatitan. etc. - Then will go to visit Tequila Pueblo Magico, (The town whith the same name of the beverage) - If you like to have lunch here, I can recomend a good restaurant, after lunch we'll return to Guadalajara and we'll take you back to your hotel.
