Ciao, welcome to my profile, willkommen auf meinem profil! I'm Katia and I have been a Licensed Tour Guide since 2009. I spent my childhood in Florence . Although I currently live in Livorno, my heart is tied to this city. I carry with me the scents of Florentine springs and summers and the beauties of the Cradle of the Renaissance in indelible memories from my childhood. I worked for years in different fields of Tourism & Hospitality (from hotels to restaurants) until I decided to turn my passion for Art history and love for Florence into a job, becoming an official Florence tourist guide. As such, my mission is to share all my love for Florence with you, by offering historical walks, visits to museums, churches and local markets, introducing you to the Italian art and history without forgetting food, anecdotes and those hidden details that will make you live for real a memorable Florentine experience. To me, a guided tour should give you a thrill that will eventually turn into an unforgettable memory. I love to guide people in a journey through my beautiful city, taking care of their needs with a touch of lightness and fun. I'm looking forward to meet you! Even if my calendar shows no availability, feel free to get in touch. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Just to clarify, I only arrange hotel or port pick-up and drop-off through the driver. I will meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

This tour experience is designed around a carefully planned itinerary for those of you who are fortunate enough to visit Florence, but have only a single day to appreciate the many treasures the city center features. Hopefully by the end of the day visit you'll come away with a better idea of the city's history and arts by viewing some famous examples but also some off the road hidden treasures. The greatest concentration of universally renowned works of art in the world is in fact found here, but luckily in a very compact area, so we'll be able to enjoy the visit simply on foot. Set as a city of outstanding universal value, Florence is since 1982 part of the Unesco World Heritage sites: we will visit the heart of the city and the wonderful Uffizi Gallery. My favorite dimension to work with is for small and personal tours where adapting to the traveler's pace while sharing with them my local expertise, can hopefully make a fun, spontaneous and meaningful experience.
