I would like to present myself as an expert of Itineraries in Florence and Tuscany. Florence is my base town, but I have lived for a long time in Siena Province, Chianti and San Gimignano. Certainly I have expertise in every corner of Tuscany. I offer and enjoy also giving tours in other destinations in Central Italy Liguria, Emilia, Umbria and Rome. My university formation is in the Fine arts and history. I am a licensed tour guide, tour manager and tour agent. I have followed several other courses in languages, wine production and Italian food. My professional experiences were for long time in art galleries. As a child, I traveled a lot with my family, as student I liked the idea of being an expert and knowledgeable tour guide. My passion for art, history, outdoor living, landscapes, cuisine made this possible in my mature age. That is how I started in 2009 my experience as a tour guide. I have no words to explain how great experience it has been since than. As of today, I prefer giving guided tours in the museums of Florence. Overview of your Livorno tour
This tour is a full immersion in a art itinerary, Florence, private excursion, from Livorno. For La Spezia look my other tours. We'll reach Florence in 1 and 1/2 hrs approx. During the transfer I will introduce you in the history of Florence, known as the cradle of renaissance . You will have the time to relax and taka a nap in 1 hr 20 min transfer. We will follow to the city historical centre where I will show you the major attractions. We will go into the stunning Uffizi Gallery where a chronological overview of the history of the western european art will unroll in the front of you. After we will walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Signoria square, Duomo or S Maria del Fiore, Medici quarter of San Lorenzo and San Marco Square. Lunch at your own pace. Around pm 2. 30 entrance to the Accademia, magnificent Statue of David, by Michelangelo and many other artworks from early Renaissance. I have graduated in Fine Arts at the Accademia in Florence. I am a painter and certainly have advantages as a tour guide in art.

Eventually , a short drive to the historical centre or walking city center 5. Uffizi Gallery 2 hours and 30 min. 6. Time for the lunch. 7. 40 min walking in the historical city center. External of the Cathedral. 8. Highlights of the Accademia, with David of Michelangelo, will take 50 min. Not included unless specified. Mondays not available. 9. Departure for driving back to the motorship.
