I like to show you around and tell you stories about all the highlights of Florence with entertaining tales about its history from the Roman times, Middle Age, Renaissance up to more modern times. As I was born in Rome but lived so long in Florence, classic history it's my starting point. You can discover fascinating connection with our past. Facts and curiosities on Florentine families who have contributed to enrich the city with unique works of Art. A walk through hidden alleyways with a local guide who has lived in more places, can be a new revealing travel experience of the city. We can visit the entire historical center nominated a Unesco World Heritage Site without getting too tired as we will stop for a snack in places where the locals hang out so to feel the real Italian lifestyle. Florence is the cradle of Renaissance but also a modern and exciting city. As this is a private tour I am happy to meet your interests and curiosities and ready to make changes and modifications to the proposed tour.

1. Our starting point it's Santa Croce Church, the Basilica of the holy cross also known as the Temple of the Italian Glories. This is also the largest Franciscan church in the World, we will discover why it's here and its function together with its large square, piazza Santa Croce, where the historical football game has started. 2. We will then move on another important square Piazza della Signoria, we will have a quick look at Palazzo Vecchio and the nearby open- air museum Loggia dei Lanzi 3. We continue our discovery towards the medieval granary church Ognissanti, Piazza della Repubblica and then reach the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Bell tower, The Medici Palace, San Lorenzo Market for a local food refreshment.
