Wander and Wonder: Half-Day Walking Tour of Genoa

Welcome to the historical heart of the city—one of the largest and most authentic in all of Italy, where real locals (like me!) still live, laugh, and hang their laundry from the balconies. It's a wonderful maze of narrow "vicoli" that twist and turn, where getting lost is almost guaranteed—and missing the magic is far too easy on your own. But don’t worry—I would love to walk with you through the smaller alleys you might not dare to explore alone, inviting you to look where you might not (often up) showing tucked-away treasures, charming corners, and true slices of local life. I'll share what it's really like to live here, my funny stories and favorites when it comes to focaccia, pesto, gelato, shopping and more!

- Starting from the city's main square with it's wonderful fountain, I will lead you through the maze-like "caruggi" (small pedestrian alleys) that even Google maps still can't navigate! - We will walk by the Cathedral, a beautiful secret garden, shops that look like museums, my favorite churches and the very majestic Palazzi of Genoa's old aristocratic families - We will take a stroll through the Old Port area and ride the most famous public elevator to reach an amazing panoramic terrace for a bird's eye view of the entire city, east to west! - I will recommend super food stops and shops along the way!
