I'm a travel agent and a tour leader with 2 years of experience: since march 2017 I started to create my own experiential tours of Genoa aiming to make travellers feel the real atmosphere of the city. I like to share my passions such as good food, playing guitar and hiking and I deal with tourists as if they were my guests to convey all my love for the city to them. I love my city cause it's a really charming place with many things to do, there's a lot of history and art, mild climate, beautiful landscapes, there are mountains and of course there's the sea to which I feel pretty much connected. For each of my tours, my goal is to make the traveler be part of the local culture by sharing my interests and passions: I think it's better to learn something through having fun rather than just listening to mere information. This way I can even feel more enthusiasm for my job as I do what I like! Finally, as I want you to have the best experience in Genoa, I'm very flexible and ready to customize my tours according to your needs. I am a licensed tour leader and I licensed travel agent According to my tour leader license I cannot guide you inside museums, churches or archeological sites, although I can give you general information about those sites. I don't have the specific license to drive a vehicle with driver service.

First of all, you can't miss out on the historical center, characterized by narrow streets and beautiful Noble Palaces: I'll be pleased to tell you interesting stories and anecdotes and I'm sure you'd like to take amazing pictures so I'll take you to the best viewpoint as well! Genoa was an important maritime republic, the city of merchants and sailors and fishermen too! So if you want to feel connected to sea as we do, you should spend some time in Boccadasse, an ancient fishermen's village, which -despite the process of urbanization- hasn't changed much during the centuries and then visit Nervi, where I spent most of my childhood, another must sea area with a picturesque sea promenade and a large park with ancient villas. We will get around in a private car so we will easily cover distances and customize the tour according to your needs!

Alessandro is an amazing guide. He picked us up at the cruise terminal with a nice van and a great driver. He was so knowledgeable about the sites we visited, the culture, the people and the food. You will get amazed by the variety of things to see in Genoa! - I will pick you up at the cruise port and take you to Piazza De Ferrari. - From there we can visit the historical center (one of the biggest in Europe), walking along the charming narrow streets and pass by the magnificent Via Garibaldi. - Going up to Spianata Castelletto the landscape changes, from one of the most elegant districts of the city you can enjoy a stunning panorama and walk along ancient footpaths called "creuze". - Later on we'll go to Boccadasse, where we can have lunch and explore the area in a romantic and picturesque background. - Last but not least we will get to Nervi, a nice residential area, where you can walk along a beautiful sea promenade and try out Italian ice cream or granita! We will get around in a private car so we will easily cover distances and customize the tour according to your needs!
