I am Federica, a Licensed Tour Guide and Environmental Hiking Guide for French, English and German languages. Mount Portofino, with its 80 km of trails of varying length and difficulty, is accessible to hikers of all levels. It also offers the opportunity to explore a truly unique area in terms of human settlement, vegetation and geomorphology. For these reasons, it is protected as part of the Portofino Regional Natural Park. On this tour, I will take you to towns like Portofino, Camogli, Santa Margherita Ligure and San Fruttuoso, which altogether form the perfect "frame" for a picture where biodiversity blends harmoniously with art, history and tradition. This tour is recommended for experienced hikers who wish to discover the beauty of the region and its most renowned destinations — not just from a touristic point of view, but by getting immersed in the green of nature and, why not, in the blue waters of the protected marine area as well.
Your Genoa tour itinerary
·The tour begins once we depart from your accommodation in Genoa. ·Firstly, we'll visit Camogli, a picturesque fishing village on the Ligurian coast nestled on the western side of the Portofino peninsula. ·On arrival, we'll go on a boat roundtrip to San Fruttuoso in order to visit the San Fruttuoso Abbey, a secluded Romanesque monastery of 10th century (with the option to swim too!). ·Afterwards, we will go on a roughly 2 hour hike to reach Portofino, a picturesque fishing village on the Italian Riviera. ·From there, we will go on another boat ride to Santa Margherita Ligure, an elegant seaside town located between Portofino and Rapallo. ·At last, we'll come back to your accommodation for the end of the tour. This itinerary can be customized as you prefer.

Private Mercedes luxury car with air conditioning and a hired professional driver (Mercedes VAN or Mercedes Sedan). Regardless, since we'd do quite a bit of walking in the tour, I suggest bringing a bottle of water and wearing comfortable shoes. If you book during the summer, be sure not to forget a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. If you book during the winter, I suggest bringing a raincoat or small umbrella in case it rains.
