Third Reich in Munich - Full Day Walking Tour

Steve W. is a wonderful tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable of all things related to the history of the Third Reich and Munich. The tour covered all of the main historical sites but also we covered many of the lesser known or out of the way places. I would highly recommended Steve for a deeper understanding of this difficult and sobering history. I consider Steve as an expert. He defiantly showed his skills during the tour. If you do not want just a high level overview, then I suggest Steve. He will provide a very deep and detail understand of the history and the complexity of the era.

Steve was awesome!! We spent two days with Steve. The first day was an all day tour of Dachau and surrounding areas. The second day was walking through Munich seeing the Third Reich sites. Steve was knowledgeable, articulate and engaging both days. He not only knew "his stuff", but he knew how to communicate it. He would give historical background in context of was going on in reality instead of just regurgitating facts. He also provided "one off" stories to further reinforce the context. Excellent!

Steve is an excellent guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the Third Reich and WWII. I have visited Dachau several times and Munich over 50 times. Steve helped me so both from very different perspectives. I will now see the ghosts of the Third Reich whenever I visit Munich in the future. Steve is intelligent, friendly, and high energy. We walked about 20 kilometers each of the two days we had. He said we saw much more than most of his tours. He had the energy and enthusiasm to go! Awesome!!!

We had a great day with Steve!! He was very passionate and we were amazed how much we learned about this time in our history. The kids had many questions and Steve always gave very thoughtful answers. I think we could have toured with Steve many days and learned so much. This was a great tour and I would recommend to anyone, it helped to understand all the different perspectives during an interesting time in our history.

Stephen did an Excellent job as my tour guide of historical sites in Munich. Stephen was very personable, passionate and engaging. He effectively took me to all the sites I wanted to see and alot more. At each site he gave me insights that even as a History professor I was not aware of and he allowed me the time to take pictures and absorb what I was seeing.
