On this tour, you will be given a thorough introduction to Munich and Bavaria. You will see all the important sights of the city and will have time to visit one or more attractions of your choice. We will stop for photos and short walks, and if you wish, you can taste some Bavarian delicacies at a market place or in one of Munich's great restaurants and beer gardens. Make a day of it and experience Munich! Depending on your interests, the tour can be focused on different topics like history, beer, BMW, The Third Reich, FC Bayern, the Arts and others.
Your Munich tour itinerary
As in all my tours, I will collect you from your hotel. In a narrated tour by car, you will see all the important sights that are not accessible on a walking tour: - Nymphenburg Palace - The Olympic Park - BMW World - Eisbach River Surfing Wave - Oktoberfest Grounds - Koenigsplatz & Munich Arts Area During a walking tour in the historic city center, we will see - The Town Hall with the Glockenspiel* - Hofbräuhaus (the world's most famous beer hall) - Viktualienmarkt open air food market Depending on your interests, we can visit one of the following attractions: - Guided tour inside Nymphenburg Palace - BMW Museum - The Olympic Tower rotating restaurant - A typical Bavarian beer garden or beer hall I will also be on hand with information about dining, events and everything you need to know to make the most of your stay in Munich. *Depending on the start time of your tour, the Glockenspiel can be seen before, during or after this tour
